Growing up, I was always fascinated by cameras and photographs (shocking!). My dad took thousands of candid family photos growing up and would upload them to an online gallery of sorts that we could flip through growing up. I frequently enjoyed looking back at photos from when I was a baby or toddler—all of the little details I couldn’t quite remember would be brought to life. Each photo told a story—like how my mom loved to have “dance parties” with us in the living room, or how I’d dress my baby brother in girl’s clothes as a prank, or how my dad would always take my on little adventures. Photos pieces together the details we tend to forget. I also always loved making collages for other people, and picking out the perfect photograph to stick on someone’s birthday card, or the perfect picture to frame and gift.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown an immense appreciation for photos before I even existed. I love sitting on the couch with my parents and looking through old albums of pictures from when they were kids. All of the moments and details that shaped them into who they are today.

For me, it's always been about people, the invisible strings that brought them together, and documenting the story of a life to both share with loved ones and remind our future selves of all we have been. It's about more than a pretty picture. It's about a 5x7 time machine that can take you back to a moment captured, holding everything in an instant!

the love of my life

After graduating from college in 2020, I bought a one-way ticket to Colorado and never looked back, I met the love of my life, Nathan, and we built our lives together. We just recently got married in April 2024 so I FULLY understand the chaos of planning a wedding!!!
